St Lucia is a stunningly beautifil place, it is a combination of the natural splendour, the flora and fauna set in undoubtedly some of the most gorgeous settings on the planet. This beautiul gem is 14 miles wide and 27 miles long with a total area of 238 sq mile, the island is located between Martinique 21 mies north and St Vincent 26 miles south, our population is approximately 160 000 with most peple living in the capital and northern area, english is the official language with a french based croeole called patio, the island became indepented in1979 december 1979. The island is rich in culture, charming traditions and a very friendly, The british and the french fort the island 14 year. |

I
was born on the island in the 70"s and grew up in the capital
city of Castries, I went to elementary school, then to high school,
after to our only community college where I did Business Management.
I soon began to work in tourism and my first hotel I worked for was
Wyndam Morgan Bay Hotel, there I worked as a waiter and a bartender
for 3 years after I worked for Sandals Halcyon as a playmaker or an
action staff [entertainment] their I worked for 4 years while at Sandals
I won two awards; most nominated employee and Mr Sandals, after I
worked in tours taking Sandals clients on various tours including
Safari tours, Island bike hikes and Rainforest conopy I would work
a total of 10 years in tours while doing tours I would win two awards
for tourguide of the season for St Lucia in the year 2005 and 2006.
After I decided it was time for me to work for myself and in 2006
I opened my own tour company called JOE KNOWS ST LUCIA, [tours].
